We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our highly dynamic and constantly evolving B2B environment. 

 

The person will be responsible for targeting new business opportunities for our range of healthcare and wellness solutions, large enterprise segment in Quebec. As part of your duties, you will need to forge strong relationships with clients and promote the expansion of our range of services in Quebec. Your strategic thinking, industry knowledge, and excellent communication skills will be essential to your success. Do you have an impressive track record in new business development?

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Business Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop a comprehensive business development strategy and plan 
    • Define target customer segments, prioritize opportunities, and set clear goals for revenue growth and market penetration 
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and clients in target sectors 
    • Establish a positive profile for TELUS through networking, participating in trade shows, conferences, and presentations, as well as other means 
    • Participation in RFPs, prepare and present comprehensive and engaging business presentations for various audiences, including senior executives
    • Understand client needs, challenges, and pain points to offer solutions that meet their specific requirements
    • Collaborate with internal resources to create compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches that highlight the value of our services 
  • Cross-functional Collaboration and Coordination: 
    • Work closely with internal teams (marketing, operations, finance, and medical professionals) to ensure seamless implementation and delivery of services 
    • Provide useful field observations to help refine strategies and services offered

 

 

Qualifications

 

Qualifications Skills and Competencies 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field
  • Proven success in large enterprise segment business development, preferably in the benefits, corporate wellness, and healthcare sectors 
  • Ability to lead the RFP process, including opportunity assessment, eligibility verification, scope setting and validation, RFP response formulation 
  • Interpersonal skills and excellent communication abilities with the capacity to establish your credibility and relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Strategic thinking and ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable strategies • Results-oriented mindset and willingness to achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Proficiency in CRM Salesforce software, Google & Microsoft Office suite, LinkedIn Navigator, and other relevant business tools
  • Willingness to travel to meet clients and participate in industry events, as needed
  • Bilingualism (English and French), essential

Salary Range:  $100,000.00-$130,000.00
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  $80,000-120,000

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
