This is an exciting opportunity to join our Advertising Sales efforts on the Connected Products & Experiences (CP&E) team at TELUS. This team bridges the business and technical worlds as we design, build and enable advertising opportunities, with the goal to achieve the best business outcomes for TELUS and its partners.
We are ambassadors and open doors to sales opportunities, customer acquisitions, and revenue growth. Our highest-performing team members react and adjust quickly to changing conditions and come up with practical ideas for dealing with them. They have an ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience and have a talent for making great first impressions.
The Role
The National Account Executive will work with the team to identify, source, pitch, define, negotiate, close and manage digital advertising revenues in the Quebec Market. We are looking for driven, high-energy professionals with strong business development acumen, solid technical and telecommunications skills, and natural sales instincts.
You will be a subject matter expert working to educate the marketplace about TELUS’ unique product offerings, which you will help create, maintain and improve. You will also be working closely with internal teams to keep the sales focus alive and build strong market strategies designed to last.

What you’ll do
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive growth in media sales
- Generate new leads by prospecting, responding to inbound leads, and actively participating in industry conferences & events
- Drive sales growth within assigned territory by identifying and cultivating relationships with key decision-makers at advertising agencies, brands, and media buying organizations
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and develop ideal digital solutions; creating and delivering compelling proposals in person, in writing, and/or via web conferencing
- Continuously seek feedback from clients to identify areas for improvement and drive product innovation to meet evolving market demands
- Act as an industry thought-leader by proactively gathering and sharing insights, impacts, challenges and potential solutions to both internal and external stakeholders
Great-to-haves
- 5+ years of sales executive experience
- Strong existing relationships within major Canadian media agencies, and Quebec based advertisers
- Knowledge of CTV/OTT, Video/Display, DOOH, Audio, and Native advertising best practices
- Hands-on experience with digital advertising platforms: Ad Server, DSP/SSP, DMP/CDP
- Expertise in sales planning, execution, and performance reporting
