You will join a highly engaged and skilled team of senior professionals with diverse expertise spanning Document Management, Procurement & Purchasing, Medical Equipment Programs, Facility Management, Space Planning, and Leasing Management. This integrated team works collaboratively to support operational excellence, ensuring optimal facility readiness across our national network of 14 clinics.
You will lead the medical equipment documentation function and serve as the national program prime for critical administrative processes, including Data Enablement Plans (DEP), Cyber Security Vendor Assessments (CVA), and working instruction development. In this role, you will collaborate with diverse stakeholders across Product, IT, Security, Privacy, Accreditation teams, and vendor representatives. As the designated subject matter expert, you will drive the development, review, and management of Standard Operating Procedures while ensuring compliance and operational excellence across all medical equipment documentation processes.
What you’ll do
- Draft or review bilingual medical equipment SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) to ensure their proper integration within our QMS (Quality Management System)
- Maintain up-to-date a dashboard of all activity progress pertaining to Accreditations, SOP’s and DEP (Data Enablement Plan) requests
- Support the quality management accreditation processes to enable our clinical growth plan and mitigate regulatory non compliance risks in close collaboration with our Director of Quality and Compliance
- Perform an in-depth privacy and security analysis and pre-deployment due diligence on all new medical equipment by interlocking with TELUS SME team members
- Coordinate training effort and support SOP’s communication to every stakeholder and foster better clinical team members engagement and knowledge
- Support external regulatory audit
- Analyze, document and validate business requirements from business users and function specification requirements using interviews, document analysis, task and workflow analysis
- Interface between business and technical teams and translate technical and business requirements into operationalizable procedures
- Communicate with project managers, subject matter experts, end users and Senior Executives
- Conduct analytical work on projects that may affect customer service delivery and revenue outcome
- Understand industry trends and best practices
Qualifications
What you bring
- Bilingualism in English and French is mandatory (Written and Spoken)
- University degree in a relevant field
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role (More specifically on procedure drafting)
- Strong project management and business analysis skills
- Ability to negotiate with governmental regulatory bodies in complex environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent ability to communicate clearly and effectively, adapting to the communication level required by each stakeholder
Great -to-haves
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in medical environments
Intermediate knowledge of English is required because you will on a regular basis interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.) as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.
