We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our TELUS Health Billing team as a Billing Analyst I. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing billing, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, and maintaining strong customer relationships through effective resolution of billing inquiries.
What you’ll do
• Issue accurate and timely invoices to customers
• Review and verify invoicing data for accuracy before distribution
• Process and send out client invoices according to established schedules
• Investigate and submit credit requests as needed
• Support and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any billing related issues promptly
• Maintain professional communication with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
What you bring
• Post-Secondary Education in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 1-3 years of billing experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently, as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
Great-to-haves
• Bilingual is an asset
• Knowledge and understanding of basic accounting principles
• Familiarity with TELUS Health, SAP and Salesforce would be an asset
• Familiarity and comfort with use of Excel formulas and macros
Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will on a regular basis interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.
Note : This is a remote, fixed term contract of 12 months, with the potential of extension.
