Our primary focus lies in capturing partnership agreements, specifically in Residential existing MDU footprints. We do this by connecting with key stakeholders in the residential property management and condominium industry and collaborating with them to support the implementation of various programs for the asset owners and the tenants living onsite. If you are the successful candidate, your role will be pivotal in joining forces with the team focused on opportunities in Quebec. You will execute partnership opportunities through cross collaboration with both internal and external channels. You will actively negotiate and support various size ownership groups, builder and property management relationships, often leading the conversation at a C-suite level. You are often the single point of contact, ensuring white glove service is provided to our partners every time. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting the development and execution of this strategic program and, ultimately, increase product penetration across existing properties and long standing operational portfolios.
 

Your leadership skills, innovative sales support strategies, strong focus on executional excellence will play a key role in maintaining the positive growth trajectory of our portfolio. By rallying the team and utilizing your unique blend of talents, you will inspire the team to deliver the very best in our channel. 

 

 

Qualifications

 

What you bring:
 

  • Proven account management experience. This is a combination of hunting and farming role so you should have experience managing existing accounts but also pursuing incremental opportunities to grow the portfolio 
  • Known to be a champion of a positive team culture prioritizing team support, coaching, professional development and goal setting
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate business challenges and strategic priorities to internal and external stakeholders
  • Noted for delivering superior communication, presentation and storytelling abilities; able to craft clear, concise and compelling messages within a story at an executive level anchored in performance metrics
  • Openness to adapt to changing business needs and can handle ambiguity well
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to territory specific cities in Quebec

 

Great-to-haves:

 

  • Demonstrated success as a sales executive, with a proven track record of growing a funnel of new business 
  • Pre-existing relationships in the developer, builder and/or property management community that could be leveraged as a starting point in connecting with prospects and solidifying partnerships early on 
  • Experience working with General Contractors, Vendor relations, Electrical contractors OR have a background in the construction industry or tenant experience
  • Strong stakeholder management with the ability to traverse complex stakeholder landscapes to manage conflicting priorities
  • Experience in SFDC, JIRA and G-Suite tools
  • Working knowledge of TELUS consumer channels, marketing and sales organizations
  • Mastery level proficiency in both English and French

 

 

Intermediate knowledge of English is required because you will on a regular basis interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its provincial scope.

Salary Range:  $70,000-$130,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  12%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
