The Role: Customer Solutions Architect
Are you a technical expert with a knack for simplifying the complex? Do you thrive at the intersection of technology and business strategy? As a Customer Solutions Architect, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping businesses navigate their technology challenges and opportunities.
You’ll partner with our Mid-Market Sales teams, but your focus will be 60% technical—designing and positioning solutions that solve real-world problems. Your expertise in SDWAN, Cybersecurity, Unified Communications, and beyond will enable you to act as a trusted advisor, ensuring clients see the full potential of TELUS’ offerings.
What You’ll Do

Consultative Design: Lead collaborative whiteboard sessions to analyze business pain points and translate them into innovative, multi-technology solutions.

Technical Storytelling: Articulate complex solutions in a way that resonates with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strategic Influence: Develop holistic technology strategies that align with a client’s long-term business goals and ROI.

Relationship Building: Build trust with C-suite executives and technical teams alike, becoming a go-to resource for their technology needs.

What You Bring

The Technical Edge:

Architectural Expertise: 3+ years of experience designing and positioning multi-technology solutions, with a strong focus on SDWAN, Cybersecurity, Connectivity, and Unified Communications.

Broad Knowledge Base: Deep understanding of modern IT architectures, security frameworks, and network design.

Business-Driven Thinking: Ability to connect technology deployments to key business outcomes and ROI.

Customer-Focused Mindset: A passion for building lasting relationships and putting the customer first.

Consultative Leadership: Confidence in leading discussions, simplifying complex ideas, and presenting solutions that resonate with diverse audiences.

Bilingual Excellence: Fluency in both English and French to support clients in Montreal and Toronto.-Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will on a regular basis interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its international scope.
