TELUS Supply Operations purchases, manages and distributes all materials and services for our company from network infrastructure like high speed internet and 5G wireless, to consumer products like smartphones and set-top boxes. 


If you are a high performer ready for a fast paced and highly collaborative role where you will be responsible for your own inventory portfolio while developing your career and supporting cross functional business units in an effort to improve our networks for our customers, then this is the role for you.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Create and update demand forecasts in collaboration with key Stakeholder groups, Senior Analysts and other Demand Planners, to optimize inventory levels to meet or exceed material availability targets
  • Leverage data analytics to proactively identify material availability challenges and deploy creative solutions to meet or exceed your stakeholders expectations
  • Collaborate with peers and stakeholders on process improvement activities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business unit best practices
  • Perform root cause analysis on material stock-outs and modify planning strategies to improve material availability
  • Ensure product lifecycle changes are planned and executed within the supply chain
  • Participate in relationships with suppliers to ensure service level and performance meet TELUS standards. Support stakeholders to ensure that suppliers provide materials or competitive prices
  • Actively engage in personal and professional development while embracing TELUS values and supporting our diverse and inclusive culture

 

 

Qualifications

 

What you bring

 

  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain inventory management
  • Demonstrated track record of developing material forecasts and improving forecast accuracy
  • Acknowledged for strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • French English Bilingual
  • A good storyteller with the knowledge and communication skills to effectively use data and influence others to take action
  • Bachelor’s degree (in a related discipline)

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • Supply Chain certification such as APICS CSCP, SCMA SCMP
  • Experience with SAP or other enterprise MRP system
  • Experience within the Telecommunications Industry

Salary Range:  $61,000-$91,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  12%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
