Join our team
As Director of Demand Generation (Small Business), you will lead a national team of marketing professionals focused on driving inbound demand through diverse marketing campaigns and tactics. Your team will generate high-quality leads for our SMB sales team across TELUS's comprehensive business portfolio, including Mobility, Unified Communications, Internet & Wi-Fi, Security, Fleet Management, and Managed IT services. This role combines strategic leadership with tactical execution to educate small businesses about our solutions while delivering measurable results through qualified lead generation.
As Director, lead the team in the following ways:
- Collaborate with media and creative agency partners to design, execute, and track diverse digital advertising campaigns
- This includes Search Engine Marketing (SEM), social media, and display advertising for major products and key buying periods (e.g., Black Friday, Small Business Month)
- Develop and deploy targeted one-to-one marketing campaigns using email, SMS, and MMS across various campaign types, including acquisition, retention, and customer lifecycle management
- Create and produce a wide range of content marketing assets such as e-books, blog articles, webinars, and in-person events that support all stages of the customer purchase journey
- Establish and maintain partnerships with major brands, business associations, boards of trade, and industry groups to create joint marketing initiatives, including digital campaigns and in-person activation opportunities
- Lead and inspire a high-performing marketing team, providing daily guidance, mentorship, and support while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or related field
- 10+ years of management experience in marketing or related field

While B2B marketing experience and knowledge of telecommunications or technology industries is an asset, it's not a requirement.
