As the Executive Assistant to the President of TELUS Health, you will serve as the strategic right-hand to one of Canada's most influential healthcare leaders. Your mandate involves masterfully orchestrating complex, high-stakes programs and activities with exceptional professionalism, strategic thinking, and absolute confidentiality. You will be instrumental in enabling the President's vision for transforming healthcare across Canada.

You possess an innate ability to navigate sensitive situations with grace while seamlessly managing multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously. You excel in an ultra-fast-paced, high-pressure environment, collaborating with C-suite executives, board members, government officials, healthcare leaders, and international stakeholders while building and maintaining strategic relationships at the highest levels.

Qualifications

 

What you bring:

 

  • 7-10 years of progressive Executive Assistant experience supporting C-suite executives in large, complex organizations (healthcare and technology preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and executive-level experience
  • Proven track record of supporting executives through major organizational transformations, mergers, acquisitions, or strategic initiatives
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and executive-level project management tools
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English with demonstrated ability to communicate with board members, government officials, and international stakeholders
  • Uncompromising integrity, discretion, and ability to handle highly sensitive, confidential information
  • Strategic thinking capabilities with ability to anticipate needs and provide proactive solutions
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence and diplomatic skills for managing complex stakeholder relationships
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability for critical deliverables
  • Demonstrated resilience and composure under extreme pressure and tight deadlines
  • Natural leadership qualities with ability to influence and coordinate across all organizational levels
  • Cultural competency and sensitivity for working with diverse, international teams and stakeholders

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • Experience in healthcare, technology, or regulated industries
  • Project management certification (PMP, Agile, etc.)
  • Experience supporting executives through major acquisitions or regulatory processes
  • International business experience
  • Proficiency in French
  • Advanced degree or professional development in executive support or business administration

Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.

Salary Range:  $73,000 - $109,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  10%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance, experience and location. Additionally, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
