Status: Permanent, Part-Time (30 hours/week)
Schedule: Monday to Friday (variable schedule between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., depending on operational needs)

The Kinesiologist is responsible for assessing clients and providing recommendations and documentation as part of medical testing.
How you will contribute:
- Greet patients upon arrival in a courteous and professional manner
- Advise clients and draft recommendations related to their health status
- Perform and explain various medical tests (audiogram, spirometry, vision tests, drug screening, resting and stress ECG)
- Assess candidates’ physical abilities based on employer requirements (lifting tests, back assessments, or other required tests)
- Assess executives’ physical fitness (VO2 max, FMS, SCPE, body composition by bioimpedance, etc.)
- Provide and conduct follow-up consultations
- Stay current through ongoing training as determined by TELUS Health
- Respond appropriately in emergency situations
- Assist with sending results to patients and reports to clients
Qualifications
You have:
- University degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or Exercise Science
- 1 year of relevant experience
- Bilingualism in French and English is essential (spoken and written)
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal abilities, good judgment, analytical skills, and proactivity
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, strong team spirit
- Computer literacy
- Ability to handle stress and unexpected situations
- Strong interest, motivation, and sense of responsibility
- Excellent communication, professional presentation, and strong customer service orientation
Assets:
- Experience supervising stress ECG tests is considered an asset
- FMS certification is an asset
- Experience with EMRs is an asset
Intermediate knowledge of English is required because you will on a regular basis interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope
