Status: Permanent, Part-time (30 hours/week)
Schedule: Monday to Friday (schedule to be determined, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.)

The impact you’ll have and what we’ll accomplish together
The kinesiologist is responsible for assessing clients and providing recommendations and documentation as part of their annual preventive health assessment or occasional follow-ups.
Here’s how
- Take charge of patients upon arrival, welcoming them courteously and professionally
- Supervise exercise ECG tests (stress tests)
- Assess patients’ physical condition (VO2 max, RPE scale, body composition via bioelectrical impedance, Kinetisense, etc.)
- Advise clients and prepare recommendations related to their health status
- Provide and carry out follow-up consultations
- Assess candidates’ physical fitness based on employer requirements (lifting tests, backassessments, or any other required tests) — occasional coverage at the occupational clinic
- Stay up to date with continuing education as determined by TELUS Health
- Complete individual or team projects each quarter
- Be able to respond appropriately in emergency situations
- Opportunity to develop a private training clientele outside regular working hours

Qualifications
What you have
- Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology
- 1 year of relevant experience
- Bilingualism in French and English essential (spoken and written)
- Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, analytical ability, and proactivity
- Self-sufficient, able to work with minimal supervision, team player
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to manage stress and unexpected situations
- Interest, motivation, and strong sense of responsibility
- Excellent communication skills, professional presentation, and strong customer service orientation
Assets
- Experience supervising exercise ECG tests considered an asset
- Experience with electronic medical records considered an asset
Intermediate knowledge of English is required because you will on a regular basis interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.
