In this role you will lead the sales team of our acquisition, Vumetric by TELUS Business. Vumetric is a leading provider of penetration testing and cybersecurity services. Since 2007, Vumetric has been providing penetration testing services to clients of all sizes. As a new member of the TELUS Business family, Vumetric is poised for additional growth.
What you’ll do
As the Manager, Sales you’ll develop and manage the sales strategy for this line of business. This includes:
- Strategically develop and implement sales initiatives to increase sales volume and velocity to expand Vumetric by TELUS Business’ market presence.
- Lead and enhance the sales team’s performance through ongoing mentorship, training, and support, ensuring they meet or exceed sales targets.
- Maintain meticulous records of sales activities and customer interactions within our CRM to leverage business intelligence.
- Work closely with Marketing and Product Development teams to conduct market research and align sales strategies with emerging customer demands.
- Articulate Vumetric’s offerings effectively, tailoring communications to meet the needs of a bilingual audience and ensuring robust customer engagement.
- Act as a cybersecurity expert and trusted advisor, staying abreast of industry trends to bolster customer interactions and solution offerings.
- Foster strong, enduring relationships with customers by addressing their unique requirements with customized solutions.
Qualifications
What you bring
- Demonstrated sales leadership skills including mentorship, training, motivating diversely skilled teams
- Proven sales experience in a consulting or professional services environment, with a strong understanding of consulting practices and client engagement.
- Experience leveraging digital sales techniques to increase sales velocity
- Exceptional collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to work in a highly matrixed organization, managing multiple tasks with shifting priorities.
- Excel in understanding customer needs and effectively mapping out value propositions to align with those needs.
- Passionate about customer service, with a proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues across all levels.
- Highly organized and results-oriented, aiming to drive substantial business outcomes.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage cross-functional teams effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and market insights to make strategic sales decisions.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels.
