As a Market Analyst for TELUS Privileges, you will play a vital role in managing and executing marketing initiatives. Your responsibilities will cover a wide range of activities, allowing you to develop your skills in various aspects of digital and traditional marketing.

What you’ll do

 

Management of TELUS Privileges Initiatives

 

  • Coordinate weekly uploads of contests, gifts, and discounts
  • Create JIRA tickets and manage associated Google documents
  • Write and translate engaging marketing content
  • Develop legal notes in collaboration with the legal team
  • Liaise between legal review, linguistic review, and Rewards teams
  • Perform functionality tests after launch

 

Cross-team Coordination

 

  • Plan and track upcoming marketing activities
  • Collaborate closely with MarComm, Social Media, Sponsorship, and Web teams
  • Facilitate communication and alignment between different teams involved

 

Marketing Strategy and Content Creation

 

  • Participate in developing innovative marketing strategies
  • Create and review various types of marketing content, including:
  • Automated emails (registration, welcome)
  • Monthly newsletters and special communications
  • Social media content (paid and organic campaigns)
  • MMS texts and SEO/Google Ads optimization
  • In-store merchandising materials
  • Web pages (residential, Deals & Bundles, contest winners)

 

Support for Annual Campaigns

 

  • Assist in planning offers and GTM tactics for magic and summer calendars
  • Participate in partner negotiations under supervision
  • Contribute to campaign budget management
  • Prepare briefings for Marcom, Social Media, and Web teams
  • Create initial campaign mockups
  • Coordinate partner approvals
  • Participate in post-mortem analysis and campaign results tracking

 

Distribution Channel Support

 

  • Create monthly toolkits for social media
  • Contribute to in-store merchandising management
  • Prepare necessary documentation for various distribution channels
  • Organize contests and prepare displays for D2C events

 

Performance Analysis and Reporting

 

  • Track and analyze key KPIs: eligible base, penetration, active members, IN/OUT
  • Evaluate the impact of initiatives on churn and customer lifetime value (LTV)
  • Analyze conversion rates (daily and monthly)
  • Prepare detailed reports on marketing and performance results

 

 

Qualifications

 

What you bring

 

  • Excellent writing skills in English, good command of French (bilingualism an asset)
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex data
  • Advanced proficiency in office tools (Google Suite, Microsoft Office)
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • Strong initiative and autonomy in task execution
  • Creativity and curiosity for new marketing trends
  • Great rigor and attention to detail in content production and data analysis
  • Excellent adaptability and openness to change in a constantly evolving environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with various departments

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • Knowledge of the telecommunications sector
  • Experience with project management tools (JIRA, Trello, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of UX/UI design principles
  • An internship or initial professional experience (1-2 years) in digital marketing is an asset

Advanced knowledge of English is required, because you will, on a regular basis, interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.), interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.), as part of this position's main responsibilities, given its provincial scope.

 

 

Salary Range:  $67,000-$101,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  12%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
