As the incumbent of this position, the nurse is assigned daily to her responsibilities according to operational needs.
Here's how
- Take care of patients as soon as they arrive and welcome them in a courteous and professional manner
- Perform and explain various medical tests (audiogram, spirometry, vision tests, resting ECG and more)
- Take blood samples from our clients as well as any other tests required by the protocols, follow the indications and/or special requests from the doctors
- Proceed with the recommendations, update and documentation of the adult vaccination required according to the protocols
- Assist the patient with a medication refill request according to the doctor's instructions
- Respond to urgent consultation requests by ensuring appropriate triage for each client, providing appropriate advice, referring the patient to the right resources with good symptom management
- Document all patient calls and emails
- Maintain clean and functional examination rooms at all times
- Perform various quality checks for certain devices, as required by the ISO standard
- Ensure the follow-up of medical files according to priority and in a rigorous manner
- Provide medical follow-up to certain patients as requested by the doctor
- Assist in the Occupational Health Clinic and Business Services in performing certain medical tests
- All other related tasks
Qualifications
You are the missing piece of the puzzle
- Hold a DEC and/or BAC in nursing
- Member of the O.I.I.Q
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as a nurse
- Spoken and written bilingualism essential
- Interest and aptitude for executive customer service, excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, good management of priorities and speed of execution
- Strong clinical judgment
- Attention to detail
- Initiative and resourcefulness
- Aptitude for teamwork
- Diligence, autonomy and punctuality
- Basic computer knowledge required (Windows)
