The Impact You’ll Make and What We’ll Accomplish Together
The successful candidate will be part of a specialized occupational medicine team. Working closely with a client-focused team, they will be responsible for providing patients with a positive experience, demonstrating empathy, discretion, and professionalism.
In collaboration with physicians and the administrative medical team, the nurse will take on a hybrid role that combines clinical care, vaccination, medical file review, and occasional on-site corporate services. To successfully perform the required tasks, the candidate must have excellent clinical judgment, strong analytical skills, and a logical, critical approach.
Your Responsibilities
Clinical Medical Tasks
- Greet and manage patients upon arrival in a courteous and professional manner
- Ensure examination rooms are clean and functional at all times
- Perform and explain various medical tests (audiograms, drug screening, vision tests, resting ECGs, and more)
- Perform blood draws and other tests as required by protocols, and follow physicians’ instructions and special requests
- Provide vaccine recommendations, updates, and documentation as per protocols and PIQ (Québec Immunization Protocol) guidelines
- Occasionally travel to perform corporate on-site testing and services
Administrative Medical Tasks
- Rigorously manage and follow up on medical records based on priority
- Perform quality control of medical records based on medical results and/or industry standards, where applicable
- Conduct medical follow-ups with certain patients as per physician request or based on medical condition
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and monthly updates to the PIQ
Qualifications
What you have
- A DEC in Nursing or a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Sciences
- Membership in the O.I.I.Q (Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec)
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a nurse
- Fluency in spoken and written French and English (bilingualism essential)
- A valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
- A strong interest and aptitude for customer service, with excellent communication skills
- The ability to work under pressure, strong priority management, and quick execution skills
- Strong clinical judgment (critical and analytical thinking)

- Basic computer skills required (Windows and GSuite)
Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its provincial scope.
