This client-facing role of a Senior Business Analyst is to manage multiple projects and client requirements continuously. The successful candidate must be a strong creative and analytical thinker with strong documentation and planning skills and enjoy daily interaction with external clients.

You will be an integral part of TELUS teams who will support multiple insurance carriers as well as the business operation teams within TELUS Payor Solutions.

As part of the team, you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading carrier implementations, including client onboarding, program rollouts, system testing, and knowledge transfer to relevant stakeholders
- Manage product Change Requests (CRs) by analyzing business and client impact, coordinating with cross-functional teams, creating required documentation, and overseeing the implementation process
- Drive team excellence through issue resolution, system testing, and close collaboration with development and product teams
- Provide guidance and support to internal team members, resolving complex system inquiries and leading support calls
- Champion process improvements by implementing team training programs, creating documentation, and establishing best practices for operational efficiency
- Manage client relationships through regular consultations, addressing operational challenges, coordinating upcoming projects, and providing strategic guidance on immediate concerns
- Analyze client impact through data-driven insights, including extracting and interpreting system reports
Qualifications
Required Experience:
- Experience in the Pharmacy Industry and/or drug knowledge is an asset
- Knowledge of claim adjudication principles – Pharmacy Benefit Management experience is an asset
- Proven ability to collect requirements and document business processes
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Experience analyzing and reporting on performance and utilization data
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Highly developed personal planning and organisational skills: Negotiating, initiating, planning and organising activities simultaneously within a project as well as with multiple projects
- Highly proficient in MS suite of applications (e.g. Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
- Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) with internal and external teams
- Strong analytical problem identification, and problem solving skills
- Highly developed personal planning and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to change
- Bilingual (French/English) is an asset
Education:
- Preferred BA designation
- Completion of University Degree or related College Diploma
Required Experience:
- 5-10 years in comparable role
- Previous Pharmacy Benefit Management experience an asset
- 2-3 years client facing experience
Advanced knowledge of English is required, because you will, most of the time, interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.), interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.), as part of this position's main responsibilities, given its national scope.
