Transform Data Into Infrastructure
Terrion is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Business Systems Analyst to power our data-driven strategy. This role bridges advanced data processing with GIS, AI, and RF engineering to enable smarter network planning, streamlined deployment, and deeper operational insights. You’ll help shape Terrion’s digital foundation while connecting Canada coast to coast. Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable data workflows integrating GIS, RF, and AI models
- Process, structure, and validate asset-level data (e.g., towers, antennas, mounts, power systems) to support network growth and lease-up
- Integrate and normalize data from site surveys, OSS/BSS platforms, and tower management systems (e.g., Sitetracker)
- Support AI/ML-driven insights for BTS targeting, colocation opportunities, and coverage optimization
- Generate GIS and market intelligence overlays combining spectrum maps, fiber availability, and demographics to inform deployment strategy
- Develop dashboards and tools for operational tracking, commercial reporting, and predictive analytics
- Collaborate with engineering, real estate, and commercial teams to translate technical data into actionable business insights
- Support data governance practices, including change management, lineage, and documentation of key infrastructure KPIs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Geomatics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience working with large datasets in telecom, infrastructure, or utilities
- Startup mindset with proven ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and pivot quickly between different functions and challenges in a fast-paced, evolving organization
- Skilled at translating between business and technical teams, turning business needs into technical solutions while making data insights accessible and actionable for all stakeholders
- Recognized for your exceptional communication skills and collaborative spirit in cross-functional environments
- Experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP, Snowflake, AWS or Azure), SQL, and data visualization tools (like Tableau or Looker) to collect, analyze, and present data effectively
- Proficiency in GIS platforms (ArcGIS, QGIS), Python/R, and AI/ML libraries
- Working knowledge of RF planning and propagation tools; understanding of spectrum strategy
Great to have
- Understanding of tower infrastructure data models and site-level asset management
- Experience aligning infrastructure, RF, and commercial data to support lease-up strategy
- Exposure to digital twin models or towerco operational digitalization efforts
- Knowledge of Canadian telecom regulatory datasets (e.g., ISED spectrum maps, CRTC filings)
- Experience building or supporting investor-facing KPIs and dashboards

Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.
