Join our team
The in-house TELUS Legal & Regulatory Affairs team provides world-class, innovative solutions to the TELUS group of companies. Our scope of work is broad and diverse and includes contract and commercial law, regulatory law, commercial litigation, privacy law, intellectual property law, real estate and environmental law, securities law, employment law, pensions, financing, mergers and acquisitions and competition law. We are trusted advisors who collaborate closely with leaders and teams across the organization to deliver better outcomes for customers and team members.
Here’s how
We are seeking an experienced lawyer to support TELUS Consumer Solutions, with a focus on the Québec market. As a member of the Consumer legal team, you will be the key legal advisor for TELUS’ consumer offerings in Québec and will be engaged in a wide variety of legal matters, including advising on existing and new consumer products and services, identifying and adapting to emerging legal risks, negotiating technology and supplier agreements, and reviewing advertising and marketing strategy and materials.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to: be a part of one of Canada’s leading in-house legal teams; join an innovative and leading Canadian company with global operations; gain exposure to legal issues across TELUS’ diverse range of business groups including telecommunications, health, and security; learn and develop as a lawyer and trusted business partner; and apply their expertise in a broad and challenging legal portfolio.
The Consumer legal team is very collaborative (and friendly!) and we work cross-functionally with other members of the TELUS Legal & Regulatory team and across the organization. We offer opportunities for both formal and informal mentorship and development.
The position can be located in Montréal, Québec City, Rimouski, Toronto or Vancouver, with the ability to work remotely or in the office.
