You will work closely with leaders across various segments of the operations to drive meaningful changes to our business.

 

You will collaborate with many stakeholders across the company to achieve your goals: with the leaders you support, with the P&C teams within TELUS and with many other peripheral teams. Your knowledge and expertise will be critical as you work to influence important changes within our business.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • You are an expert advisor and have expertise in interpreting, negotiating, and administering collective agreement provisions
  • You are a confident presenter and have effective facilitation and presentation skills. Exceptional written and communication skills are a must
  • You are a risk guru and you provide day to day risk assessment to client groups and influence appropriately with respect to labour relations activities and issues
  • You are also comfortable in a dynamic work environment that requires team work and collaboration

 

 

Qualifications

 

What you bring

 

  • Bilingualism (English/French) is a requirement. Proficiency in French is critical
  • You have 5 to 8 years of Labour Relations or relevant management experience including collective agreement interpretation, grievance/arbitration management, advocacy, and union/management relations
  • You have experience with policy/process development and researching arbitral jurisprudence
  • You have a Master's or bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations and/or related degree or equivalent in education and experience

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • Experience with collective bargaining in a large, multi-union organization is an asset

 

 

Salary Range:  $93,000-$139,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
