About the Role

Our Patient Engagement team at TELUS Health delivers the patient experience layer that connects citizens and patients with care across four electronic medical record (EMR) solutions in Canada. We serve public and private sector healthcare clients, and we work with provinces and regions to meet complex needs, including white-label and customized solutions shaped by public procurement. As Senior Product Strategy Manager, you will shape where our products go and why. You will own the market intelligence, product vision and strategy that guide the portfolio, turning customer and market insight into clear strategic direction, a differentiated position and a compelling business case. You will work closely with Product Management, Program Management, Engineering, Sales and Marketing, and you will bring clarity to a multidisciplinary environment.

What You Will Do

  • Lead market discovery: conduct customer interviews, validate market problems and size opportunities to identify where we should play

  • Run ongoing competitive and market analysis, tracking trends, emerging technologies (including AI) and shifts in the competitive landscape

  • Define and evolve the product vision and the annual and multi-year product strategy, aligned with company priorities

  • Identify and articulate our unique capabilities and sustainable competitive advantages (our “moat”)

  • Develop positioning, pricing and business model recommendations, including new revenue and go-to-market opportunities

  • Build business cases and strategic recommendations that support investment decisions and portfolio prioritization

  • Provide strategic input to product roadmaps and ensure product plans reflect the agreed strategy

  • Partner with Product Marketing, Sales and Research to turn insights into actions, and clarify roles across teams

  • Communicate strategy, insights and trade-offs clearly to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders

Qualifications

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, technology or a related field; MBA or equivalent is an asset

  • [7+] years of experience in product strategy, product management, consulting or corporate strategy, ideally in technology, health or a regulated sector

  • Proven ability to define product vision and strategy and to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority

  • Strong skills in market research, competitive analysis, customer discovery and opportunity validation

  • Experience with pricing, positioning and business model development, and building financial business cases

  • Excellent analytical, storytelling and presentation skills; able to simplify complexity and drive decisions

Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.) as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.
