We are looking for a highly motivated and bilingual strategic sponsorship professional to join our incredibly talented team. In this exciting role you will bring the TELUS brand to life through compelling partnerships by driving forward business priorities and expanding our leadership in social purpose. This role will support the Manager - Sponsorship and will help to shape the strategy, management and implementation of TELUS business and brand objectives across key sponsorships in Quebec by leveraging partnership rights and benefits. Your responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure project management of sponsorships, from strategic ideation to delivery, in collaboration with agencies, internal business units, and key stakeholders.
  • Manage the day to day with partners strengthening relationships and leveraging contractual rights and benefits.
  • Ensure adherence to timelines and execution quality including rigorously managing budgets.
  • Lead on-site activations and ensure smooth logistics and installations.
  • Deliver strategic integrated activations with relevant, clearly established business objectives and measurable results to demonstrate marketing return on investment attributed back to sponsorship
  • Work with internal and external partners to support ongoing optimization against key performance indicators, enforce reporting, and escalate issues as they arise
  • Lead integrated programs in collaboration with business teams to drive revenue generating opportunities across sponsorships 
  • Analyze sponsorship requests (external and internal) and share appropriate recommendations.
  • Develop event/activation briefs, executive summaries, status reports, post-execution analysis documents, and expert presentation decks reporting results

Qualifications

 

What you bring:

 

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both French and English.
  • Minimum 7+ years’ equivalent experience, preferably in a large corporate setting
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience in sponsorship, business, marketing, sports marketing, communications, or another related field.
  • Knowledge of the sponsorship industry and experience in evaluation and quantitative analysis.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Positive attitude, tact and diplomacy, collaborative mindset, and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Calm and comfortable in ever-changing environment; results-driven with an ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong negotiation skills and relationship-building abilities.
  • Analytical and creative mindset with attention to detail and ability to handle tasks of varying scales while working under pressure.
  • Comfortable working occasionally on an irregular schedule.

Note: This role is offered in a flexible work mode.
 

Salary Range:  $83,000-$125,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
