The Purchasing & Inventory Management Infrastructure (PIMI) team is seeking a results-driven, analytical Supply Planner to manage end-to-end material planning and drive optimal inventory, vendor excellence, and supply chain reliability. As a Supply Planner, you'll translate TELUS's infrastructure goals into operational reality—orchestrating vendor partnerships, optimizing inventory efficiency across our national network, and ensuring material excellence that powers our build.
What you'll do

Establish and execute inventory and supply plans to meet business goals (budgets, ATP, inventory turns, obsolescence), place strategic purchase orders, and manage vendor relationships for timely material delivery.

Manage strategic supplier relationships to ensure TELUS standards for service levels and performance while securing competitive pricing and quality materials.

Optimize inventory distribution across TELUS channels to support network builds and customer sales, maintaining fill rates and inventory turns.

Troubleshoot systems and lead process improvements to maximize supplier/TELUS interface efficiency, reduce costs, and improve supply reliability and service levels.

Communicate data-driven supply insights and monitor supply chain risks to support informed decision-making across the organization.
Qualifications
What you bring
-
Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or related field

Experience in supply planning, materials management, or supply chain operations

Strong analytical capabilities; proficiency in SAP/ERP, Google Suite, visualization tools and procurement platforms

Financial acumen (ROI, CAPEX/OPEX/COGS) and understanding of supplier dynamics

Proven process optimization and TQM experience including product lifecycle management

A decisive, action-oriented communicator and collaborator with strong organizational skills, ownership mentality, and the influence to drive results across stakeholder groups with urgency and curiosity.
Great-to-haves

Supply Chain certification (CSCP, SCMP, APICS, or equivalent)

Experience in telecommunications, utilities, infrastructure, energy, or engineering

Hands-on proficiency with SAP S/4HANA or SAP IBP

DDMRP or S&OP process experience

Knowledge of Engineer-to-Order (ETO) supply chain models

Advanced Tableau proficiency for dashboard creation and data visualization
Intermediate knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.
