What you’ll do

 

As a fully Bilingual (French and English) Talent Acquisition Consultant supporting our TELUS Retail Limited (TRL), you skillfully wear and balance several hats: trusted advisor and partner, project manager, talent scout and agent, business steward and salesperson. You truly understand the business objectives and talent needs of leaders and their teams. You are as much a part of the business as you are recruitment. Your natural curiosity, uncanny level of perception, strong listening skills are reasons why leaders and candidates trust you – you know your stuff, you understand what’s important to them and you’ll strive to hire the best of the best to join us.

 

  • Trusted Advisor and Partner: You build strong relationships with our delivery business leaders by deeply understanding their business and culture
  • Proactive Talent Sourcing: You actively seek out top talent for the TRL team, ensuring we attract the best candidates
  • Recruitment Expert: You lead and streamline selection processes and talent decisions, providing valuable market intelligence
  • Customer Experience Advocate: You champion positive hiring and candidate experiences, ensuring a seamless process for all involved
  • Brand Ambassador: You foster and maintain relationships both internally and with external job seekers, services, associations, and educational institutions
  • Analytics Specialist: You compile and interpret recruiting data, ensuring compliance with hiring policies and practices

 

What you bring

 

  • Bilingualism in English and French is mandatory
  • Previous recruitment experience in a corporate and/or agency environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that allow you to build effective relationships – you’re a people person!
  • Strong collaboration, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Sense of urgency and ability to thrive under pressure; you are results-driven and a go-getter who can work in a time sensitive environment 
  • Expert ability to draw out real requirements and set expectations while remaining adaptable to a very fluid environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
  • CHRP or CHRL designation is a strong asset

 

 

Advanced knowledge of English is required, because you will, on a regular basis, interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.), interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.), as part of this position's main responsibilities, given its national scope.

Salary Range:  $59,000-$89,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  10%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
