What you’ll do

 

The selected candidate will be responsible for requesting, developing, planning and implementing sales strategies and retention strategies for our business customers. In collaboration with account managers and the marketing team, you will plan and coordinate sales development campaigns and loyalty and retention activities for your customer base in order to identify business opportunities and manage these accounts effectively. You will analyze your customers’ needs to develop and maintain privileged professional relationships with them.

 

What you bring

 

  • Meet and exceed sales, revenue and business development targets with our customers
  • Develop sales to our business customers based on growth and retention targets and TELUS marketing campaigns
  • Develop strong relationships with customers by offering solutions and alternatives to maintain their loyalty, in close coordination with the development strategies established with your colleagues from the sales team
  • Listen to and understand our customers’ needs and promptly implement creative, relevant and simple solutions
  • Work closely with internal TELUS teams and various partners
  • Take part in various networking activities
  • Learn about the competition’s strategies from available reports and identify any potential business opportunities

 

 

Skills and experience:

 

  • Bilingual French & English communication
  • Undeniable people and communication skills and a knack for developing business networks
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Creative, proactive and self-motivated
  • Ability to work with a team to establish business strategies to improve our service portfolio with our customers
  • Familiarity with all products and services offered by TELUS
  • Ability to work in a competitive and dynamic environment
  • Good multitasking abilities
  • Results-oriented and able to go above and beyond expectations
  • Carry out methodical follow-ups and document your interventions
  • At least three years of experience in sales or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in a relevant field
