Our Sales Specialist – Wellbeing solution role is a strategic seller that exceeds client expectations and surpasses sales targets. As an extension of the TELUS Health Virtual Care Sales team, you represent the TELUS Health brand, values and promise.

Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together
In this virtual customer-facing, revenue generating, Sales Specialist – Wellbeing solution role, you will interface with, and sell to, all levels and contacts in Ontario, Quebec and the Atlantic provinces. You will analyze the customer’s employee benefits, health and wellness challenges in order to identify areas where TELUS Health Virtual Care solutions can add value and address specific needs. You will also focus on selling the newly launched Wellbeing solution. Working alongside the account Sales Executive, you will ensure we maximize our existing service relationship by growing our services and associated revenues.

- Enthusiastically articulate the benefits associated with TELUS Health Wellbeing services
- Identify, qualify, advance, and win new opportunities with the account Sales Executive
- Maintain high levels of knowledge and expertise regarding our Wellbeing solution
- Build trust, loyalty, and solid long-term relationships with key decision-makers
- Engage and work closely with extended team members including account Sales Executives and the broader account team: other Sales Specialists, Client Success Managers, and Marketing team members
- Prepare proposals, presentations, quotations, contracts, and supporting documentation
- Provide accurate and timely forecasts, funnel hygiene, target/objective updates to deliver on all territory plans and team annual targets
Qualifications
You’re the missing piece of the puzzle
- Business acumen and finance based selling skills: understanding of customer goals, objectives and operations
- Technical Business-to-Business (B2B) sales knowledge
- Transformation level storytelling and solution selling experience; comfortable presenting to a client’s executive leadership team on concepts and outcomes relevant to their position in the organization
- End-to-end knowledge of the sales cycle and how to effectively launch and execute a sales pursuit
- Solid knowledge regarding the virtual care and/or benefits marketplace
- Ability to construct a convincing business case, express it clearly and gain consensus around decisions, plans and actions
- Ability to manage and translate business requirements into enabling solutions
- Evidence of selling and effectively managing customer relationships
- Post-secondary education, Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 3-5 years of successful sales experience in digital health, virtual care or group benefits
- Bilingual English and French essential
Great-to-haves
- Knowledge of the digital health ecosystem, including telemedicine and virtual mental health related solutions
- Solution selling or customer-centric sales methodology knowledge & experience
