TELUS Business Solutions is seeking a Sr. Customer Solutions Architect (CSA) to join a dynamic presales engineering team, supporting both Commercial and Public sector customers. The successful candidate will have a passion for designing technology networks with demonstrated experience in technical solution consulting and deep subject matter expertise IP internetworking. The CSA will interface with customers and the sales organization to perform business needs assessment, product demonstrations, whiteboard discussion, opportunity qualification, and solution design and proposal development.

Business Solutions and Technical Sales provides end-to-end sales, marketing and post-sales business customer support across Canada. Our Sales team is dedicated to supporting business customers all across Canada. We help connect our customers with industry-leading technology solutions to create opportunities and solve business challenges in both public and commercial sectors and across various vertical markets.


Our Marketing team leads product marketing for most of our wireline business solutions, strategic alliances and support for sales tools and analytics. The team also oversees regional customer marketing.
The Technical Sales team provides customer solutions architecture and specialty sales support for TELUS business customers across all segments.

What you bring

 

  • Strong Routing and Switching know-how including Managed Private Networks and Integrated Services knowledge with specialization in the following technology areas.
  • Proficient in IP Internetwork, Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS), IP trunking and WAN L2 technologies. 
  • Expertise in one or more SD-WAN Platforms namely, Viptela, Velocloud, Fortinet and Meraki
  • An understanding of Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) technologies and capabilities.
  • An understanding of Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC).
  • An understanding of Cloud Platform Services 
  • An understanding of Cybersecurity and industry best practices.
  • Bilingual proficiency- English &French

 

You have:

 

  • Ability to uncover and understand business requirements through a consultative process.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, clearly communicate risks, anticipate challenges, seek clarification and set clear expectations with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead and direct customers through their digital transformation journey.
  • Excellent technical writing, design consultation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to articulate both business and technical value of proposed solutions 
  • Ability to work with limited supervision in a competitive environment

 

Education:

Post-secondary degree or technical diploma in Engineering. Relevant industry certifications. 
Minimum 5 years sales engineering or equivalent experience in telecommunications, IT and/or information security. Experience with RFP responses, proposal development and statements of work.
