As a Systems Analyst responsible for data conversions (imports and exports) for our EMR platforms, you will take part in various analysis and delivery activities relating to your assigned projects. You will be tasked with promoting optimization of the quality of the services delivered to our customers, and will take part in analyzing conversion strategies, prioritizing our various activities, and validating conversion mechanisms (imports and exports), as well as implementing test scenarios both internally and with customers. You will also take part in testing and documenting procedures for the use of new extract-transform-load (ETL) applications. Finally, you will execute all of the technical operations associated with a project until the final import of the data into the production environment.

  • Analyze and document strategies for converting and loading data
  • Import converted data for our customers in a timely manner
  • Handle all tests, validations and mapping activities related to the execution of clinical data conversions
  • Validate data directly with customers as needed
  • As a specialist, recommend new technical solutions to support continuous improvement of our processes while sharing best practices and working on required improvements
  • Provide support as needed to the team developing ETL tools for data conversion
  • Work with all teams responsible for delivering clinical solutions to our customers

 

 

Qualifications

  • SQL expert
  • Familiarity with best practices and methodologies for the analysis, mapping, validation and execution of customer data conversion operations
  • Excellent communication skills and customer focus
  • Strong analytical skills, always seeking solutions to identified issues
  • Ability to work independently, team spirit and eagerness to participate
  • Concern for a job well done and meeting deadlines
  • Flexibility and strong ability to adapt to change
  • Bilingual in English and French, especially excellent command of spoken and written French
  • University degree in computer science or equivalent diploma from a technical institute, or equivalent experience
  • At least 8 years experience in an analyst role for which your primary tasks and responsibilities were related to importing and exporting data and to analysis and development of ETL tools
  • Previous experience in preparing and delivering multiple production launches, and experience with production patches

 

Great to have

 

  • Knowledge of IT systems used in clinical settings in this market
  • Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence and Bitbucket systems
  • Web, C#, Python and Linqpad development skills #LI-Remote
