As Senior Technology Consultant within the NSD team, you will play a critical role in the planning and execution of a roadmap designed to effectively address the technology challenges faced by our customers.

The NSD Senior Technology Consultant will provide IT leadership and support to our clients.

 

He/she will support the leadership team in achieving the business goals of regional empowerment, central governance and strategy to deliver an integrated national service model.

 

The Senior Technology Consultant will be responsible for software loading, server support, system monitoring and network performance:

 

  • Support the leadership team to achieve the business goals of regional empowerment, central governance and strategy to provide an integrated national delivery model
  • Integrate open source tools that are used to offer a turnkey solution to our internal and external customers. You will also need to analyze and program some of these solutions as needed
  • Perform the administration and keep up to date the servers that are used for these turnkey solutions. Review distributed computing and networking concepts to select appropriate operational support strategies and ensure efficient use of resources

Qualifications

 

You’re the missing piece of the puzzle

 

  • French/English bilingualism (essential)
  • Knowledge of programming principles
  • Know at least one programming language (Java, .NET, C ++, etc.)
  • Automation of tasks via programming tools (Powershell, Bash, Python, Ansible)
  • Ability to create scripts and ensure development and programming using APIs (Python, PHP, Perl)
  • Administration of Linux servers (CentOS / Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Apache, PHP, etc.)
  • Administration of Windows servers (IIS, Active Directory, Firewall, Security of shares and folders, etc.)
  • Ability to configure, manage and troubleshoot with UNIX and Windows Server

 

Assets

 

  • Skills in production system support and component and assembly testing
  • Administration of virtual servers under VMware
  • Installation and administration of databases (Microsoft SQL Server, mySQL, Postgresql, etc.)
  • Experience in managing complex business customer solutions (Software Defined Wide Area Network [SD-WAN], Multiprotocol Label Switching, LAN)
