The Administrative Coordinator’s work is directly related to the success of our clinical activities. Your actions will have a direct impact on our patients’ experience. You will interact on a regular basis with doctors, medical staff and administrative staff, enabling them to carry out their work efficiently and make optimal use of their time. You will distribute patients’ charts according to their protocols, the type and time of their appointments, and resource availabilities. Your role is to maximize the customer experience while minimizing wait times for everyone. Finally, you will be in contact with colleagues from various departments to ensure optimal coordination of daily activities.
Here’s how
- Distribute patient charts to healthcare professionals according to protocols, resource availability and certifications
- Communicate all relevant information to keep the day running smoothly for your colleagues, doctors and superiors
- Validate protocols, notes, documents, and patient signatures for each chart
- Ensure that patients’ clinical activities are completed within the timeframes indicated in the established protocols
- Discharge corporate patients who have completed their visit
- Coordinate healthcare professionals’ breaks and meal times
- Communicate and work with different internal departments to optimize processes and service delivery
Qualifications
You’re the missing piece of the puzzle
- College diploma in an administrative field
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Bilingual (spoken and written)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Well-developed sense of organization and autonomy (multitasking)
- Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment
- Committed to providing excellent customer service
- Proven team spirit
