Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together
Reporting to the Controller, the Financial Analyst III will support our TELUS Health Virtual Pharmacy for month-end activities, monthly forecasts, annual budget cycle and preparing ad hoc analysis/business cases. A major part of the role will also be focused on automating reporting process and designing new metrics. We are looking for someone who proactively takes initiative and has the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Here's how
- Assist with month-end activities and prepare monthly reporting package with clear and concise commentary
- Prepares and communicates financial projections and profitability analyses to the Controller and leadership team by developing effective communication of financial concepts to the audience;
- Maintain multi-year business planning models, based on strategic direction of organization
- Design new metrics and prepare reports to monitor forecast accurately and analyze all trends;
- Recognize opportunities and provide recommendations for improvement by acting as a business partner;
- Complete ad-hoc analysis as required to aid key stakeholder to make informed business decisions
You're the missing piece of the puzzle
- University degree and CPA accounting designation is required or Business degree BAA/MBA
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant analytical experience in a finance/accounting position
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, with in-depth knowledge of Excel
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Superior attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong time management, problem solving and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to interpret complex data in a way that is relevant to the audience
- Offer insightful analysis to senior stakeholders to drive change and influence decisions
- Known for your collaborative spirit and ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment and build good working relationships to influence others at all levels of the organization
- Respected for your result-driven mindset and ability to take initiative and ownership of issues and tasks through to resolution

Great-to-haves
- Working knowledge of SAP and Hyperion
- Experience with applying Visual Basic for Applications in Excel
- Experience with GSuite, especially GSheet
- Experience in database querying
- French is an asset
