Learning Specialists help clinicians who use an EMR to identify and manage their key factors in order to derive the full benefit of this technology's value.

Here’s how

  • Adapt a training plan based on EMR-focused workflow

  • Train new clients with practical in-person sessions or by remotely using web tools

  • Ensure that clients are able to adequately use the application by the end of the training

  • Have the necessary materials on hand to deliver effective training

  • Help design and develop additional materials to reinforce the learning objectives

  • Apply the principles of instructional design for adult learning in new, initial and periodic training sessions and in personalized training

  • Follow training team procedures, standards, models and styles
