The TELUS Health Finance team is a high-performing and collaborative team that delivers exceptional financial reporting, planning, and analysis to senior leaders and key stakeholders. As a trusted advisor to the Health leadership team, you will have in-depth involvement in many aspects of our key business activities and processes.


Our Team and what we’ll accomplish together


Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst will support our TELUS Health Consumer Solutions portfolio with a focus on month-end activities, monthly forecasts, annual budget cycle and prepare ad hoc analysis/business cases.


We are looking for someone who proactively takes initiative and has the ability to work under tight deadlines and ambiguity.


What you’ll do


As a member of the Health Finance team, you will:


  • Assist with month-end activities and prepare monthly reporting package with clear and concise commentary
  • Support the end-to-end monthly forecasting and annual budget cycle, based on sound financial principles and expectations
  • Maintain multi-year business planning models, based on the strategic direction of organization
  • Complete ad-hoc analysis as required to aid key stakeholder in making informed business decisions
  • Deep dive on key issues driving variances by working with stakeholders from the business to understand the issues, in order to brainstorm solutions
  • Partner with BU primes and key stakeholders to prepare executive-level presentations
  • Identify and implement process improvements

  • University degree and CPA accounting designation is required
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant analytical experience in a finance/accounting position
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, with in-depth knowledge of Excel
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Superior attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong time management, problem-solving and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to interpret complex data in a way that is relevant to the audience




  • Working knowledge of SAP and Hyperion is an asset
  • Experience with applying Visual Basic for Applications in Excel
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Superior attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong time management, problem-solving and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to interpret complex data in a way that is relevant to the audience
