As a Solution Architect you will play a key role in improving healthcare delivery and innovation across the country by contributing to a platform that engages the patient and connects them with their health care provider. This role will allow you to work with the latest technologies in a fast-paced environment to improve integrated digital health ecosystems.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Influence the direction of our platform by leading engineering discussions and mentor others on engineering best practices
  • Own and scale new product ideas from ideation to production
  • Lead the development of some core functionalities for the whole Pomelo ecosystem
  • Building and integrating information systems to meet the company’s needs, with AWS components
  • Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it
  • Resolve technical issues related to the products and infrastructure in place
  • Providing supervision and guidance to development teams
  • Continually researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed
  • Informing various stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented

 

 

Qualifications

 

What you bring:

 

  • 5+ years of experience working in an engineering role with a track record of building highly scalable and robust systems
  • 3+ years of experience with Java and NodeJS
  • 3+ years of experience with CDK or Terraform
  • 3+ years of experience databases (SQL and no SQL)
  • An ability to drive progress in ambiguous problem areas independently
  • A passion for leaving things better than you found them
  • Comfortable with serverless and event-driven paradigms
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with regularly changing priorities
  • Strong independent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Bilingual: Fluent in French and English
