You'll work alongside Accredited Exercise Physiologists, dietitians, nurses, physicians, and administrators in an environment where every team member's expertise enriches patient care. - Conduct personalized fitness evaluations and rehabilitation consultations using evidence-based protocols, including aerobic testing (VO2max, Bruce, Gerkin, modified Bruce) and musculoskeletal assessments with advanced technologies (Kinetisense, VALD testing equipment)
- Master stress testing protocols by learning contraindications, pretesting preparation requirements, and ECG monitoring—including electrode setup, blood pressure monitoring, and defibrillator operation when required
- Develop expertise in advanced movement assessment and strength testing technologies, building proficiency in interpreting results and translating findings into actionable client recommendations
- Engage in behaviour change counseling by applying evidence-based strategies and assessing clients' stages of change, helping them overcome barriers and sustain long-term health improvements
- Apply newly learned skills quickly and effectively in a collaborative team environment, working closely with colleagues to refine your practice and deliver excellent client experiences
- Design and deliver personalized exercise programs and group training sessions, ensuring client safety throughout all testing and training activities while maintaining equipment and adhering to sanitation protocols.
