Our team and what we’ll accomplish together

 

The Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) will provide exemplary care to our executive health clients in accordance with practice standards. The RPN will liaise with other clinic staff, physicians, and administrators to ensure safe and effective delivery of our services.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Administers and explains various tests including (vitals, vision, spirometry, audiometric, urinalysis, drug screening)
  • Performs vision, hearing, spirometry, audio testing, ear cleaning
  • Monitors patient safety throughout the test, including using defibrillator when required
  • Performs venipuncture as per protocols
  • Administers vaccines as required per protocols
  • Confers professionally with medical personnel regarding abnormalities and results
  • Coordinates, processes, and completes referrals
  • Triage for consultation appointments
  • Supports physicians as required
  • Communicates with patients by telephone and e-mail as needed
  • Take ownership of patient files; verification, monitoring and filing of various medical results
  • Performs medical procedures in accordance with regulatory body guidelines 
  • Track and order medical inventory as needed 
  • Other administrative duties as required

 

 

Qualifications

 

What you bring:

 

  • Completion of a Practical or Licenced Nursing Program
  • Registered as a Practical Nurse in good standing
  • Current CPR certification level (C) is mandatory
  • Minimum of six (6) months of post-graduate practical experience and phlebotomy, resting ECGs and stress test skills and experience are required
  • Venipuncture and vaccination experience is necessary
  • Travel vaccine experience an asset
  • Must be able to practice in fluent English and French

Salary Range:  $20-$37
