The Network Engineering and Operations team drives the success of multi-technology and multi-program deployment for Quebec. As a Project Manager 2, you will ensure the execution of network infrastructure projects entrusted to you and provide essential operational support to guarantee the success of the EAST PMO team's programs and projects. Daily, your expertise, rigor, and proactive approach will ensure organizational success through the precision of your financial forecasts and exemplary coordination with stakeholders. You will also contribute through your experience to optimize our operations, tools, and procedures, while participating in automation initiatives. What you'll do
- Lead the execution of network deployment projects in accordance with organizational standards and procedures
- Maintain daily accuracy of budget forecasts for your projects
- Ensure achievement of critical milestones established for your projects
- Support and assist teams collaborating on project execution
- Exercise leadership in resolving complex issues and implementing effective mitigations
- Proactively communicate progress, challenges, and solutions for files under your responsibility
- Contribute to establishing and maintaining best practices in project management, training, and process optimization
- Propose and participate in implementing continuous improvements to operational processes and procedures
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify, initiate, and deploy strategic improvements
Qualifications
What you bring
- 5+ years of proven experience in project management, budget management, and schedule planning
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- High adaptability to change
- Expertise in problem analysis and development of mitigation solutions
- Technological curiosity and proficiency with innovative tools such as FueliX, Gemini, etc.
- Advanced skills in SAP and BW (transactions, reports, and customizations)
- Operational proficiency in Excel, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Sites
- College diploma or equivalent applied professional experience (engineering, computer science, administration)
- Functional bilingualism (French and English)
Great to haves:
- Recognized professional certifications (PMP, ITIL, AGILE or equivalent)
- University degree - Bachelor's (Engineering, Finance, Marketing)
- Specialized university certificate in project management
- Practical knowledge of Google Studio, Tableau, Appian, Apps Script
Intermediate knowledge of English is required because you will on a regular basis interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.
