As a Contract Manager on the Corporate Real Estate team, you get the opportunity to lead some projects and the day-to-day operations in the region of Rimouski, within the TELUS’ administrative portfolio. As the first point of contact for workplace and operational requests, you would be providing needs analysis and validation. You will also be supporting services related to the implementation and buildings maintenance.
What you’ll do
- Coordinate the design and development of solutions to meet the needs of new services as well as existing ones following analyzes of existing and planned administrative buildings in collaboration with applicants
- Receive and analyze internal customer requests for specific accommodations, recommend a solution, and present it for approval
- Estimate the costs of carrying out projects based on labor and material costs and/or supplier quotes
- Analyze submissions and recommendations
- Coordinate and plan building maintenance work with the help of internal and external staff
- Monitor the budget and approve the significant variations that he can anticipate or that occur on his projects
- Perform general professional supervision of work in progress by occasionally visiting sites to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, schedules and budgets
- Support Corporate concierge on the day-to-day operation to meet TELUS standards
Qualifications
What you bring
- With a minimum of 5 years of related project management experience
- With a post-secondary diploma/certification (design, architecture, engineering, or others)
- Skills with office suite software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint)
- Bilingual in French and English
If knowledge of English is required for this position, it is because the team member will be asked to interact in English with external or internal parties or to use English applications or software as part of their tasks.
Great-to-haves
- Skills with drawing software is an asset (Autocad, Sketchup, CAFM)
- Ability to work on multiple tasks/projects at one time
- Ability to adapt and deal with change
Intermediate knowledge of English is required because you will occasionally as part of this position's main responsibilities given its provincial scope.
