Reporting into the Senior Manager - Finance Systems TELUS Health, the Financial Analyst III will play a role with the maintenance and development of several systems used by the Finance Department.
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst III to join our Finance Systems team. The successful candidate will play a role in optimizing and maintaining the company's financial systems. You will be responsible for maintaining critical finance systems and data as well as supporting business processes across TELUS Health Finance. This role requires a strong understanding of finance activities in combination with strong technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, maintain, and customize financial data systems
- Analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive reports
- Develop and maintain financial reporting systems and processes
- Provide application support and optimization for finance-related software
- Reconcile finance data in different systems/reports
- Support end users by answering questions and providing training
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in systems management and financial analysis
- Strong understanding of financial principles
- Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience with data visualization and presentation of financial information
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Google Workspace/G Sheets
- Ability to work with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Looker)
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (SAP, Workday)
- Comfortable using Budgeting and Reporting software (eg. Adaptive Insights/Adaptive Planning, Hyperion, Oracle Cloud EPM)
- Knowledge of database management
