We are a small but mighty team of ambitious, creative, and passionate individuals responsible for supporting various channel enablement initiatives within the Telus Consumer Solutions (TCS) organization. TCS encompasses multiple national sales channels across the breadth of Canada, from call centres (inbound & outbound) to door to door to word of mouth marketing. We are a customer-focused and results-driven team that leads by driving new and innovative channel growth opportunities and providing best-in-class operations and enablement support to our D-2-D (door to door) partners and internal sales execution teams.

We are seeking an financially astute, analytical, and passionate individual, to support our financial management & data enablement team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional onboarding, training, and payment experiences for our channel partners, supporting the financial month end process, and implementing the channel’s compensation programs to ensure they are supported with detailed calculations and timely payment. If you are recognized for your expertise in customer service through data & analysis, attention to detail, and passion for operational excellence, then you are in the right spot!

 

Here's how*

 

  • Ensure a seamless onboarding & payment experience for channel partners
  • Manage & forecast OPEX budgets, supporting month-end & triage processes 
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to senior leaders on the implementation of compensation strategies to define the success of our sales teams.
  • Champion financial governance processes and present to leadership on a regular basis.
  • Support data & reporting management for partners
  • Investigate partner payment inquiries and drive to timely resolution
  • Analyze large amounts of data, identify trends, derive recommendations and provide succinct explanations

 

 

Qualifications

 

You're the missing piece of the puzzle*

 

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role and/or related education with demonstrated performance and increasing levels of responsibility
  • Known for your curious mind and positive approach to problem solving, you experiment with new and innovative approaches to continually advance key business priorities 
  • You have the ability to juggle multiple priorities while quickly pivoting as required to meet objectives
  • You have excellent attention to detail and focus on accuracy. You possess a ‘can-do’ attitude and will roll up your sleeves to get things done when team members require additional support
  • You have excellent analytical proficiency and attention to detail

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Statistics or Business adm
  • 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Finance, or Data Analytics
