Reporting into the Senior Manager - Finance Systems TELUS Health, the Senior Analyst - Finance Systems will play a major role the maintenance and development of several systems used by the Finance Department.

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing and maintaining the company's financial systems. You will be responsible for maintaining critical finance systems and data as well as supporting business processes across TELUS Health Finance. This role requires a strong understanding of finance activities in combination with strong technical skills.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Configure, maintain, and customize financial data systems
  • Analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive reports
  • Develop and maintain financial reporting systems and processes
  • Provide application support and optimization for finance-related software
  • Reconcile finance data in different systems/reports
  • Support end users by answering questions and providing training

 

 

Qualifications

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in systems management and financial analysis
  • Strong understanding of financial principles
  • Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Experience with data visualization and presentation of complex financial information

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace/G Sheets
  • Ability to work with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Looker)
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (SAP, Workday)
  • Comfortable using Budgeting and Reporting software (eg. Adaptive Insights/Adaptive Planning, Hyperion, Oracle Cloud EPM)
  • Knowledge of database management

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment. They should be able to provide strategic insights and drive business performance through data-driven decision-making and independently troubleshoot issues.

 

 

Salary Range:  $86,000-$130,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
