Reporting into the Controller- Consolidations & Reporting TELUS Health, the Senior Finance Analyst – Consolidations and Reporting will play a major role in supporting the monthly reporting packages, forecasting and budgeting processes for the company including high level analysis and assisting with special projects.

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in consolidating and analyzing results and forecasts for our company. You will be responsible for supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes, consolidating results for month, quarter and year ends and assisting and special projects.  

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Prepare consolidation files for monthly and quarterly close processes for management reporting to leadership teams
  • Compile monthly financial results analysis and results packages
  • Facilitate budget and forecast process through compilation of input files, presentation decks and reconciliation of consolidated data and leading ad hoc training sessions
  • Maintain and communicate month end, forecast and budget schedules
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses for internal stakeholders
  • Facilitate special projects for improved consolidations reporting
  • Prepare and track month end processes in compliance with SOX requirements
  • Collaborate with internal auditor & controllership teams to provide support for audit requests
  • Recognize, recommend, plan and implement complex process improvement opportunities, including selling the idea to stakeholders and leading and or participating in cross functional teams for execution.
  • Evaluates impacts of changes to business plans leveraging strong understanding of business operations and strategy and key financial indicators to provide informed, insightful recommendations.
  • Develops effective business relationships with peers, senior finance team, and VP/Dir level of client team; may have Leadership Team exposure.

 

 



 

Required Qualifications:

 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics concentrations
  • Minimum 5 + years of relevant experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities

 

 

Great-to-Haves:

 

  • Proficiency with Excel and Google Workspace/G Sheets
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (SAP, Workday)
  • Comfortable using Budgeting and Reporting software (eg. Adaptive Insights/Adaptive Planning, Hyperion, Oracle Cloud EPM)

Salary Range:  $90,000-$134,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
