Our Employer Solutions team provides technology Human Resource solutions to Commercial & Public Sector organizations across Canada. Leveraging their expertise as HR practitioners, the team delivers cost-effective, customized support including payroll, performance management, business process outsourcing as well as Customer Relationship Management solutions.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Monitors payroll processes to ensure data integrity
  • Provide support related to facilitation of escalated issues through problem recognition (i.e. gathering information, question and summarization), research and analysis to develop best resolution. Coordinates responses to escalations from internal resources and external clients
  • Maintains procedural and knowledge management documentation
  • Analyzes processes to be implemented to identify expected statistics / results
  • Identifies opportunities to optimize processes (time, cost, quality)
  • Work directly with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing

 

 

Qualifications

 

What you bring

 

  • Understanding of HR policies, procedures and collective agreements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and PeopleSoft HRMS
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HR Operations and HR Employee Life Cycle
  • Demonstrated skills in organization, time management, prioritization and coordination with the proven ability to work independently or in a team
  • Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication
  • Demonstrated analytical skills to assist in issue identification and resolution
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation. A helpful, friendly and diplomatic manner in person, through email, and on the telephone
  • Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to diffuse conflict and emotional situations

 

Education

  • Post-secondary diploma / certification in Human Resources or the equivalent experience demonstrated by progressive responsibilities is an asset.

 

Experience

  • 5 – 7 years of experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a corporate environment.

 

Great-to-have

 

  • PCP or CPM Certification

 

 

Salary Range:  $57,000-$85,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  10%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
