Our team and what we’ll accomplish together:

 

Mascon, based in Salmon Arm, has been a cable operator since 1983. Mascon joined the TELUS team in January 2017 and continues to operate and sell internet and TV over our cable network in 14+ communities throughout BC.

 

We need help this summer to complete a very important data entry project. If you're currently registered in a Post Secondary Program seeking a meaningful summer job or if you're seeking an opportunity to join our team in a Customer Care role on a permanent basis, please apply.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Updating and correcting customer data files
  • Utilization of highly developed planning and organizational skills
  • Working in a fast paced environment, while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Engage and collaborate with project


 

Please Note: This is a Temporary Full Time Position– with the possibility of an extension, based on business needs (No Guarantees)

 

Qualifications

 

What you bring:

 

  • Ability to work autonomously, demonstrate initiative and good judgement
  • Exhibit strong work ethic and take ownership to complete tasks from start to finish
  • High level of self-motivation, with a drive to learn new skills
  • Professional communication
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • 1-2 years of experience in administrative tasks
  • Friendly and positive attitude

 

Great to haves:

 

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Basic knowledge of project management fundamentals
