As a Trusted advisor for Data Quality Management, you’ll contribute to the adoption and advancement of TELUS’ Data Management and Data Quality Program, you will also contribute to the advancement of TELUS’ Data Quality platform maturity and adoption.

As a Subject Matter Expert in Data Management, you collaborate with various business units and demonstrate thought leadership when sitting at the intersection between business value, technology and data to ensure TELUS’ data quality platform provides a high usability platform for all data quality needs at TELUS. Growth mindset is the must for this role as we are lean and extremely adaptable team that supports all aspects of Center of Excellence practice.

What you will do


  • Work with business stakeholders on the adoption and onboarding of TELUS Data Quality Tool powered by Collibra (training and technical support) 
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to build data quality rules, data profiling and data monitoring solutions 
  • Performs Data quality impact assessment requirements reviews and develops work estimates 
  • Enable business stakeholders to create Data Quality Dashboard and Reports and enable automation of Data quality alerts and notifications 
  • Define, enable, test and automate scripts for data quality algorithm processes against source system that collect metrics and outcomes
  • Develop test strategies and site reliability engineering measures for data products and solutions 
  • Participate in agile development scrums and solutions reviews 
  • Lead resolution of critical operations issues including post implementation reviews 
  • Contribute to the strategic direction and evolution of TELUS’ Data Governance & Data Quality Management application.
  • Consult with business stakeholders on remediation plan
  • Acts as the user advocate articulating the end user’s needs
  • Enrich user experience for all types of users





What you bring

  • Subject matter expertise in CDQr product, including specific industry and technical knowledge
  • Strong communication & problem solving skills
  • Strong understanding of Data Lifecycle and what DQM activities are applied at each stage
  • Working knowledge with database technologies, systems , reporting tools and APIs
  • Ability to work with Communication platforms used (gSuite, web pages, Collibra dashboards, …) hands on design and development required



  • University degree in computer science and/or 5 years of working experience in Information Management
  • University Certification
  • Knowledge of Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud Technology
  • Demonstrable DAMA international BOK Framework knowledge and/or application
  • Fluency in speaking, reading and writing in French



Salary Range:  $104,000-$156,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits such as:
