In this role, you will work on managing and organizing continuous software releases across Dev\UAT\STG and production environments. You will work closely with different projects’ teams and partners and liaise with quality leads, DevOps leads, Scrum masters, and product owners to ensure timely release delivery with best quality.


You will also help us in the continuous improvement journey using Agile methodologies and LEAN techniques. You will help us identify the process\flow gaps and introduce enhancements along the way.


What you’ll do:


  • Work collaboratively with different projects and teams to define, develop, execute, and refine the release process
  • Align releases according to project and business requirements
  • Document the release process and share with stakeholders
  • Ensure that entry/exit criteria are met at every stage and highlight risks or issues to the respective stakeholders
  • Ensure timely documentation of release notes, test cases, etc. and the availability on used tools and to concerned audience
  • Work with the DevOps team members to automate the release process
  • Consult, guide and refine release management best practices
  • Build and present simplified messages to TELUS management 





What you bring


  • Proven ability to evangelize and adopt Agile methodologies and LEAN framework
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, critical thinking, communication, and presentation skills 
  • Proven experience influencing, building relationships, communicating with internal and external stakeholders and senior management
  • Ability to prioritize tasks from multiple stakeholders and meet deadlines with quality deliverables
  • Capable of listening and interpreting stakeholder feedback to understand technical milestones and concepts and to be able to translate to business outcomes
  • A process-oriented mindset with a flexible approach to cater changing business needs
  • Proven experience with SDLC and release planning
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in release management, software development, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Hands on experience with DevOps tools such as Jira/Confluence
  • Good knowledge and experience with GCP
  • Good knowledge and experience with ITIL processes
  • Bachelor degree in computer science, engineering, or any related field




  • ITIL V4 certification
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification
