TELUS Supply Operations purchases, manages and distributes all materials and services for our company from infrastructure to consumer mobile through over 1,000 points of presence, and direct to our customers. We are transforming how we deliver service to our customers, and to the communities in which we live and work.

 

Your new team owns demand and supply planning, purchasing and inventory management for TELUS’ consumer businesses including wireless mobile products and TV, Internet and Security services. Importantly, supporting TELUS’ leadership in sustainability, your new team also owns reverse logistics and reuse of TELUS’ in-home products.


What you’ll do

 

Data is at the heart of all of our supply chain decision making processes. You will provide analytics, reporting, and insights to support our team in making great and timely decisions. The insights you provide will help us serve our customers better, generate the maximum return on our inventory investment, and help us improve our processes. You will:

 

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements
  • Enable continuous improvement by providing accurate, timely and insightful KPI reporting. Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve data requirements
  • Research supply chain KPIs, and collaborate with planners and business owners to define and implement new business KPIs
  • Provide actionable insights from complex, multi-dimensional and constantly changing data
  • Identify, own and lead data-driven process improvement projects
  • Work with data and analytics functions in the broader team and business to provide robust, future-proofed data architecture and reporting
  • As the team’s expert in data modeling, coach and mentor other team members

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Advanced expertise in managing SAP data
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in data visualization tools, with experience in Domo being an asset
  • Experience in building and maintaining data assets and ETL pipelines
  • Excellent SQL skills for data querying and manipulation
  • Confident in engaging a broad set of stakeholders and collaborating with all levels of the leadership team
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline

 

Great to haves

 

  • Experience within a supply chain organization with a solid understanding of principles and processes.
  • Certification in SAP, GCP or relevant data management tools.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of SAP S4 / Blue Yonder

Salary Range:  $70,000-$104,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  12%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
