Our team and what we’ll accomplish together

Our Cloud Infrastructure DevOps and Build PMO is looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager to join their team to work with new technologies and manage multiple medium large IP and Cloud Infrastructure projects supporting our internal TELUS customers, seeing these through to their successful and measurable conclusions.

You will be an integral part of the TELUS Network Infrastructure DevOps and Build PMO team responsible for the program and project management of key strategic development initiatives in IP Core and Cloud Infrastructure to support the various key TELUS services which includes the state of the art wireless core technology and services such as EPC, 5G and IOT. You may also act as a program lead to support key strategic initiatives under IP Core/Edge, NFV & Transport build projects across the central region. You will be required support and improve our Agile/DevOps methodologies as well as mentor the other PM’s within the PMO. You will take ownership and independently lead the project management and successful delivery of large and complex projects from a basic concept development stage to the successful implementation supporting our business partners.

What you’ll do


  • Liaise and coordinate with extended TELUS project stakeholders such as coordinators, project managers and service management on integrated solutions
  • Drive end to end focus in developing appropriate project plans for launching DevOp projects from the initial concept to the final launch stage
  • Manage multiple programs/projects with varying degrees of complexity and deliver projects on schedule, and within budget
  • Lead and mentor other Project Managers as well as teach and develop project management methodology and tools
  • Lead collaborative meetings on a regular basis to remove roadblocks, mitigate risks and issues, and develop action plans to manage change





What you bring


  • Your superior communication skills will ensure that the stakeholders and clients are well apprised of status, achievements, concerns and risks regarding the ongoing projects by recognizing unexpected situations when they occur, prioritizing urgent matters and recommending actions for effectively mitigating project risk and resolving issues
  • Ability to analyze data effectively to solve problems and support informed decision making
  • Solid knowledge of project management methodologies, principles and practices, along with knowledge of capital and operating budget planning, execution and reporting
  • You have 7+ year of leading projects in the Telecommunications/IT industry
  • You hold a university degree in Engineering or a related field
  • You hold a Project Management Designation such as a PMP or equivalent
  • Excellent negotiation, facilitation, and communication skills




  • SCRUM Master
  • SDLC Training
  • Previous experience with TELUS Wireline and Wireless infrastructure a significant asset
  • SAP Experience
