We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Software Development Team Manager to lead our Network Automation and Application development team, a critical role responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge network automation capabilities within the rapidly evolving telecommunications landscape.
As a key member of our engineering leadership team, you will be instrumental in shaping our software development strategy, driving technical excellence, and fostering a collaborative and engaging work environment. What you’ll do

Lead, mentor, and inspire software engineering team while conducting performance reviews and identifying development opportunities

Drive agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and manage team workload to ensure efficient project delivery and meet deadlines

Provide technical guidance and architectural oversight for telecommunications software solutions, ensuring adherence to coding standards and security guidelines

Oversee complete software development lifecycle from conception to deployment, ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions that meet business objectives

Collaborate with product management, architects, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and translate them into actionable development plans

Oversee and manage third-party vendor providing scrum team resources, ensuring seamless integration and monitoring performance against KPIs

Champion continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and automated testing while identifying and mitigating technical risks

Stay current with emerging telecommunications technologies (5G, SDN, NFV, IoT) and industry trends to inform technical strategy

Foster cross-functional collaboration and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular project updates and representing the team in technical decisions
Qualifications
What you bring

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.

Proven experience with various programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, C++) and development frameworks relevant to telecommunications.

Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies.

Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in an agile development environment.

Strong domain expertise within the telecommunications industry is highly desired, including experience with:

Network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, SIP, Diameter, SS7)

Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.
