TELUS Supply Operations purchases, manages and distributes all materials and services for our company from infrastructure to consumer mobile through over 1,000 points of presence and direct to our customers. We are transforming how we deliver service to our customers and creating a competitive advantage for our company. Your team is implementing the latest retail planning solution and we want to maximize the benefits from simplifying the processes and developing team skills.


You are a passionate and experienced business analyst who is able to identify a business issue, analyze root causes, identify creative solutions, gain stakeholder support, and implement changes with lasting effect and make a material improvement to bottom line business performance.


You can demonstrate a proven capability to engage key stakeholders and work across different business units leveraging the most appropriate collaboration tools to support virtual team working.


You will partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to drive key strategic and transformational initiatives to ensure TELUS consistently outperforms our competition.

  • Analyze our end to end process and system performance and provide recommendations on how to improve our customer experience and reliability to outpace the competition
  • Successfully identify, develop and implement process and system simplicity & efficiency initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive improvements that deliver optimal business outcomes
  • Provide robust program/project management discipline including performance tracking, risk assessment and benefits delivery
  • Actively listen and engage in personal and professional development for one’s self and peers, embracing TELUS values and supporting our diverse and inclusive culture  

You're the missing piece of the puzzle

 

  • Recognized for implementing cross-functional program plans and leading change initiatives
  • 5+ years progressive experience in Supply Chain, Process improvement and/or Project/Program Management, preferably within the telecommunications and/or the Consumer Retail industries
  • Confident in engaging a broad set of stakeholders and collaborating with all levels of the leadership team
  • Being able to give a structure to complex topics/ discussions, keep the teams organized and arrive at collaborative decisions in a timely manner
  • Acknowledged for strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A strong story teller with the knowledge and skill to effectively use presentations and compelling business cases to influence others to take action
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems like SAP/ retail planning tools like Blue Yonder (formerly JDA)
  • Bachelor’s degree (in a related discipline)   

 

Great-to-haves

 

  • MBA
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent designation
  • Supply Chain certification such as APICS, CSCP or CPSM
  • PMP
  • RPA (robotic process automation) knowledge/experience
