We are the Customer 360 Data & Strategy team, an integral part of the TELUS Business Marketing BI organization under TELUS Business Solutions. We are accountable for the single-source Canadian Business customer database which consists of existing TELUS, adjacent business units (ex. ADT, GoCo, TELUS Health, TELUS Agriculture), and prospective customers. The data strategy and assets we build, maintain, and evolve serve as a cornerstone for TELUS Business Solutions to address the customer’s needs and increase the market share of TELUS through various marketing campaigns.
What you’ll do
We are seeking a proactive individual to own the Customer Matching (MDM) portfolio. This Customer Matching capability is foundational for Prospective customer identification for campaigns, Merger & Acquisition analysis for cross-sell strategy and planning, Holistic view of customer for strategy and reporting, and identification of customer data quality opportunities.
- Work closely with the Business Customer database owner to enable Marketing Leads for prospective and existing customers (including adjacent business units)
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and how to evolve our current MDM solution to meet future uses cases to drive business outcomes
- Work with our BT partners to challenge the status quo on our existing cleansing and matching capabilities in order to achieve 80% matching automation
- Perform UAT and sign-off on data standardization/cleansing and customer matching rules
- Unleash the power of the holistic view of customer in Informatica MDM to deliver business value for prospects and cross-sell campaigns
- Communicate your vision and execution strategy to our leadership team
Qualifications
What you bring
- You have 3-5 years experience leading and evolving a product / portfolio which contributed to leads generation and prospects conversion
- You have a strong understanding of the power of the holistic view of the customer and how an MDM solution can unlock customer insight (especially when the data is from mulitple data sources)
- You have experience developing business rules to transform, cleanse, and match customer data
- You have exemplified a deep passion not only for understanding the data but also the up-stream sources and/or processes that capture the data
- You have demonstrated you can pivot between supporting the urgent needs of the business and the long-term roadmap
Great-to-haves
- Understanding of “fuzzy” name matching techniques
- Experience with improving data quality
- Familiar with Informatica MDM (Data Quality and Match)
